Noho2.com is my new studio across the street from Skullr Records, next door to A&M Printing, Chad Sexton’s Drum City and a few blocks from Disney Studios, NBC, Warner Bros. and Universal Studios.
Come over and check it out! We had a film crew in on Saturday Director, Christian Elder, Director of Photography, Jamal Farley and Sound by Dan Cook. Alog with several other very talented and hard working crew shooting a Pepsi-Max commercial. Tomorrow is Enter The Shell’s second podcast @ Noho2 Studio.
The studio is a 69 feet deep store-front, 14 feet wide and 12 foot tall. I’ve blocked out all the sunlight from the two skylights and the front windows for lighting color control and frequent use of my HD-projector for private screenings. The portion of studio space I can currently book out for shoots is 50′x14′x12′. Soon I will have the walls and windows treeted for sound and equiped for composite, motion capture, CG and animation production.

Larry Salzman is a professional musician with the experience, talent and ability to compose, write, perform, record and teach nearly any style of percussion from all over the world. We have used him in our studio on countless projects. His current projects are numorous and very notable, but if you haven’t seen him perform yet, a good place to start is his newest group: “Global Beat Foundation”. They perform regularly in his base-town, Fullerton, California at “Table Ten” on Commonwealth near Harbor and at various galleries and local cafes. He uses this group to showcase some of his most exotic styles associated with the cultures each of the instruments originated. The group is comprised of Synth, Laptop, Electric Guitar, and various professional and student guests. Regulars include: Erik Matson (Silent Dream Records), Trevor Green (Official Site) and more… After performances, if time allows, he answers questions people have and introduces his crew, promoting their respective projects and groups.
